Why choose a reverse osmosis water filtration system?

What is a reverse osmosis water filtration system and how does it work?

When it comes to outstanding purified water, reverse osmosis water filtration systems often set the bar high.

RO systems feature some of the most proficient water filtration methods in the market and are ideal for any size home or business.

Many RO membranes are comprised of various multi-layer filters that are tightly wound together and have tremendous absorptive capabilities. With the help of high pressure, tap water travels through each filter to remove up to 99 percent of all contaminants from water. Once water is purified, excess water is flushed out of the system from a separate part of the membrane.

What can a RO system do for you?

With a RO system, contaminants such as pesticides, sulfates, fluoride, bacteria, pharmaceuticals, arsenic, chlorine and more are removed from water. In return, the overall taste, odor and appearance of water will be greatly improved.

RO systems are also easy to maintain. Our standard Brio RO systems are compatible with different brands of RO filters, which can be purchase at any home improvement store. We also offer Brio quick-change RO systems that feature single-use filters, so users can simply throw out the filters when they reach the end of their service life and purchase new Brio quick-change filters directly from us.

Additionally, consumers will be able to save money as they will no longer need to purchase reusable water jugs from a water delivery service or refill their own water jugs at a water store.

Brio has RO systems covered

One of the most satisfactory RO systems we offer is the SROM500. It is a standard five-stage RO system that has a fast water production speed and comes with a 4-gallon water tank, so consumers will always have fresh purified water on demand.

It features a sediment pre-filter, a carbon block filter, a RO membrane, a post carbon in-line filter and a GAC filter to ensure that virtually all contaminants are removed from water. This system is compatible with different brands of filters, and typically only needs to be serviced every 6 to 12 months depending on how heavily the system is used.

The LROQ500 has the same features of the SROM500, but it is a quick-change model. The first three stages of this system include quick-change filters that are not reusable. When the filters have reached their service life users can toss them out and purchase new ones. However, this system cannot be paired with other brands of RO water filters. It is only compatible with Brio quick-change water filters.
